The Streaming Giant Selects Perfect Star for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is set to exert significant influence in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the major clash won’t unfold until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.
The platform declared this week that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. The role has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The performer, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will depict a version of that figure re-envisioned as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag performer, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and cartoon version.
The new cast member will work alongside a number of recently announced actors who will portray the organization to life, such as leader Mr. 0, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the ensemble as the monarch of the fictional land.
Though the role is a major member of the group, the persona will be introduced in One Piece season 3. Considering the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this represents a notable change in the placement of the character’s debut, one that could indicate more adjustments to the story’s structure.
Escola’s blend of excellent comedic sense and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the character. In addition to their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and several accolades for penning and acting in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, showcasing the adaptability they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded figures.
The platform’s adapted One Piece program is due to premiere for its next installment on March 10, 2026.
